Celtic target Oscar Gloukh has reportedly turned down a new contract at Maccabi Tel-Aviv.Record Sport exclusively revealed earlier in September that the Israeli rising star was among a number of options being considered by Ange Postecoglou ahead of the January transfer window.
The Parkhead boss is keen to future-proof his squad should any of Celtic 's top players be snapped up following the World Cup.
Qatar 2022 kicks off in November and Postecoglou is aware big clubs could come calling when the winter window opens shortly after the tournament concludes, should any of his team impress on the biggest stage.
And one name on the manager's radar is 18-year-old Gloukh. Maccabi value the attacking midfielder at around £8million but he has less than two years remaining on his current deal.
