Spanish opera singer Placido Domingo, 79, has tested positive for coronavirus. The star revealed his diagnosis on Facebook, as he explained to fans that he was tested for the virus, after experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 including a fever and a cough.
Placido urged fans to be ‘extremely careful’ and explained that while he and his family are currently in ‘good health’, they are now self isolating for ‘as along as it is deemed medically necessary’.
He wrote: ‘I feel it is my moral duty to announce to you that I have tested positive for COVID19, the Corona virus. My Family and I are all in self isolation for as long as it is deemed medically necessary. ‘Currently we are all in good health but I experienced fever and cough symptoms
