Fans have praised Meryl Streep for her performance in the Disney+ hit series Only Murders In The Building. The actress, 74, joined the cast as theatre actress Loretta for the show's third season - starring alongside Disney star Selena Gomez, comedian Steve Martin and Saturday Night Live legend Martin Short.

Only Murders In The Building follows Mabel, Charles and Oliver - friends united by their love of true crime - who wind up having to solve murder mysteries themselves.

The first two episodes of the highly-anticipated third series were released on Disney+ on Tuesday, August 8. This season sees Streep's struggling actress Loretta join the main cast to figure out how her co-star - played by Paul Rudd - was murdered.
