Caroline Flack
Caroline Louise Flack (born 9 November 1979) is an English radio and television presenter. She began her career as an actress, starring in Bo' Selecta! in 2002 and has since presented various ITV2 spin-off shows such as I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! NOW! from 2009 until 2010 and The Xtra Factor from 2011 until 2013. Flack won the twelfth series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2014 and the following year began presenting main series such as Love Island and The X Factor replacing long-standing presenter Dermot O'Leary.

Olly Murs speaks to his late friend Caroline Flack every time he walks on set to present a TV show. The singer is fronting ITV’s Starstruck in his first major hosting stint since presenting the X Factor alongside Caroline in 2015.

The pair also hosted Xtra Factor together for two years. Reminiscing on their backstage fun, Olly says the bubbly star, who took her own life last year, is never far from his mind while presenting.

He said: “Hosting a show without Caroline is an odd feeling... she’s always in my thoughts.” Olly, who has been filming the Stars in Their Eyes reboot since April, added: “I thought about Caroline every time I was behind the screen about to go out – I was like, ‘Yeah, Caz, let’s go smash the show!’” The pair endured
