The jury in the trial of a man accused of murdering nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel in Liverpool has been shown CCTV images of the moments before and after the fatal shooting.
Thomas Cashman, 34, is accused of carrying out the attack in Dovecot on August 22 last year. Olivia was killed in the fatal shooting, while her mother Cheryl Korbel, 46, and Joseph Nee, who is said to be the intended target, were both injured.
At Manchester Crown Court today, on the third day of a trial that is expected to last four weeks, Cashman's movements during the day of the shooting, both in his Citroen Berlingo and on foot, were outlined to the jury, the Liverpool Echo reports.
He was seen making a number of journeys past Finch Lane, where Nee was watching a Liverpool v Manchester United football match at a friend’s house that evening, the court heard.
