Olivia de Havilland has died at the age of 104, it's been confirmed. She died of natural causes at her home in Paris, where she had lived for more than 60 years, her publicist Lisa Goldberg said.
The actress is best known for playing Melanie Hamilton in the film classic Gone with the Wind, for which she was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Oscar.
She was one of the last surviving stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood Cinema. Enjoying a five-decade long career, de Havilland appeared in 49 feature films in total.
