TV personality Olivia Attwood said endometriosis “needs to be talked about more” as she posted a heartbreaking hospital snap of her sister as she recovered from another surgery.
Olivia, 31, held her sisters hand as she lay in a hospital bed, and comented: “On a less fun note. My sisters endometriosis battle continues”.
She continued to say: “Another successful surgery”.The Love Island star turned TV presenter pleaded for more endometriosis awareness as she wrote: “#endometriosisawareness it needs to be talked about more.” According to NHS, endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes.
This isn’t the first time that the star has spoken out about her sister, Georgia, and her health journey with endometriosis.
