Manchester United’s season has gone from on the verge of crisis, to a genuine title tilt in what appears a matter of weeks. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have won six of their last seven Premier League games and haven’t tasted defeat since a dismal reversal against Arsenal on November 1.
But their upturn in form has seen them move up the table, to find themselves just five points behind league leaders Liverpool, having played one game fewer.
And with the January window set to open in just over a week, there are hopes that Solskjaer could add some extra quality to his squad.
