Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has U-turned on his decision to leave out Donny van de Beek by vowing to start him in the FA Cup against Watford.
Van de Beek was in the news all last week after he was given just two minutes of game time in United's Carabao Cup semi-final defeat by Manchester City.
Red Devils supporters hit out at Solskjaer's handling of Van de Beek on social media, with one Twitter user labelling the late substitution "disgraceful".
Van de Beek's City cameo came after he was left out of Manchester United's Premier League fixtures over the Christmas and New Year's period.
