Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refused to admit Manchester United are in the title race – despite Marcus Rashford's late winner moving them up to second.

Rashford's dramatic 93rd-minute winner at Old Trafford moved United to within two points of champions and Premier League leaders Liverpool.

But Solskjaer claimed there is no such thing as a title race at this stage of the season and played down United's chances, despite their lofty position in the table. “It’s not a title race after 15 games,” said Solskjaer. “You can lose the chance of being a race in the first 10 games, of course, but play another 15, get to 30 and then start talking about the title race, when it gets to March and April. “We can't get too far ahead of ourselves.
