Listen to the full playlist on Spotify below and on Apple Music.In The Cover, Oklou dives into her debut album ‘Choke Enough’ and how her experiences with and perspective of love have shifted how she writes her songs. “After what I’ve experienced – and after having thought about love so much, and questioning the way I’m built for that – I couldn’t make music in the same way,” she explains.The star – real name Marylou Mayniel – also talks about her love of pop music, from growing up to her reverence of it now. “I was really into [pop] because of what it created with the other kids,” she remembers.
