Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.
Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.
Odsonne Edouard is "tired and isolated" after his coronavirus ordeal but has been handed a major fitness boost with Albian Ajeti declared fit to face Rangers.
Ajeti injured his hamstring when scoring in the 3-0 win over Hibs on September 27 but the £5m signing from West Ham has recovered in time for the game.The Celtic boss also revealed that Edouard has returned to the club and will be assessed later today before a decision is made on his availability to face Rangers.
Edouard has spent a period in isolation after testing positive for coronavirus when in France with their Under-21 side. That ended yesterday, allowing him to return to the fold but there will be concerns about his fitness to start the game after nearly two weeks without.
