Liam Gallagher
William John Paul Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis in the 1990s and 2000s, and later fronted the rock band Beady Eye in the early 2010s, before beginning a solo career after the dissolution of both bands. One of the most recognisable figures in British music, he is noted for his outspoken and abrasive manner; penchant for wearing parkas; distinctive singing style, in which he elongates vowels; and signature stance on stage, which consists of him holding his arms behind his back and singing up into a downward-facing microphone.

It's almost all over for Oasis fans, Ticketmaster have announced - with the first gig to go on sale for the group's big reunion, at Dublin's Croke Park stadium, now sold out.

Plenty of fans are going to look back in anger after a frustrating morning as those who didn't bag seats throw in the towel or look to secondary ticketing sites where huge sums are already being charged.

However, there is some hope yet, with fans urged to keep an eye on the site because more could go on sale. An announcement on Ticketmaster's Irish site this afternoon announced the cupboard was bare, but teased that could change.

It read: "UPDATE: There are currently no tickets available. Please check back later as more may be released.” Tickets for Dublin went on sale an hour earlier than those for London, Manchester, Cardiff and Edinburgh and it is thought some seats may still be available in other locations.Ticketmaster has advised fans still seeking to book: "Tickets are still available, but inventory is now limited and not all ticket prices are available." It comes as sources said that Liam and Noel are likely to confirm two extra dates at Croke Park in addition to the ones that have now sold out.The dates are expected to be the following weekend, August 23 and 24.Ticketmaster has been using an Uber-style surge pricing model where the cost of tickets rises as demand does.The move came as a surprise to some fans with one posting that a set of £150 tickets had risen dramatically, writing: "£355 surge price on Ticketmaster?
