British rock legends Oasis have reportedly lined up their pals Blossoms as the opening act for their much-anticipated reunion tour.
Indie band Blossoms, who previously supported Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds at a memorable gig in London's Royal Albert Hall, are set to share the stage with Oasis during the Manchester leg of their comeback. The Gallagher brothers will grace Heaton Park for four nights come July.
An insider revealed the natural pairing: "Noel and Liam and Blossoms have been friends for years and with the band also coming from Manchester asking them to support Oasis was a no-brainer," adding that an official announcement is on the way. "It will be announced in due course but Blossoms have agreed to support Oasis at their Heaton park shows - naturally they jumped at the chance," disclosed to The Sun.
OK! has contacted the band's reps for comment on the claims. Band members Tom Ogden and Joe Donovan are particularly thrilled, as watching Oasis at Heaton Park was their very first concert experience.
