Bad luck has struck twice for Cambuslang's Kenny McLean - but the Norwich City and Scotland star says he has to find a way to get over it.A holiday and a wedding awaits him this summer but the midfielder could have been involved in the nation's crucial World Cup play-off semi-final against Ukraine this week, and potentially a final versus Wales.Injury ruled him out of Euro 2020 last summer and now a broken toe keeps out of a Scots side looking to book a spot at Qatar 2022 this winter. It's particularly hard to stomach after Norwich were relegated back to the Championship from the Premier League, but the man from Cambuslang is keeping his head high.Acknowledging how unlucky his moments with injury have been, McLean says he's happy to cheer Scotland on as a fan once more.He told the Sunday Mail: “I’ve been really unlucky with Scotland, picking up injuries at bad times.

Last summer I missed the biggest games the country have had in so many years.“And this year it’s the same, I’m missing the games that could get us to the World Cup.

It’s not ideal and my timing is just terrible. Last year I cancelled my wedding because it was during the Euros.“Then I got injured and, by that time, it was too late to go ahead with the ceremony.

This year I’ve had the wedding on hold for months. Because of this injury I can now crack on with it next week.“My missus has never been happier for me to have a broken toe!
