North Lanarkshire Council give go ahead to replacement mast to improve 5G coverage in Wishaw

Wishaw residents can look forward to better 5G coverage after North Lanarkshire Council gave the go ahead to upgrading telecommunications equipment in the town.Council planners have given the green light to the upgrading of existing telecommunication equipment including a 17.5 metre high replacement mast in the town’s Quarry Street.The applicant, Cornerstone, put forward the proposals to the council back in November and with no letters of objection having been received, planners moved to grant the request.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
