North Korea 'stops trying to silence rumours that Kim Jong-Un is dead'

Officials in North Korea have stopped attempting to silence reports that leader Kim Jong-Un is dead, according to reports. The dictators prolonged absence from the public has only fueled the reports that he is either seriously ill or dead.

There have been conflicting reports that Kim is in a vegetative state after heart surgery and others have claimed he has died.

North Korean media has not reported on Kim's whereabouts since he presided over a meeting on April 11. Daily NK claims to have spoken to a source based in the North Hamgyong Province.

They said: “All sorts of rumors are spreading. “But even though the government is aware of all this, there has been no centralized response to it, either in the form of lectures or otherwise.
