A guitar owned by Noel Gallagher guitar will be auctioned off to help the fight to save Salford Lads and Girls Club. The autographed Cherry Hofner Verythin was used during his time with Oasis for studio recordings.
With an estimate of £4,000 to £8,000, bidding will end on Friday November 15. It is hoped 20 percent of the total selling price will go the the club which needs to raise £250,000 before the end of this month to stay open.
Meanwhile an exhibition of Oasis memorabilia and a record fair to be staged at the club on November 23 and 24 is set to raise thousands of pounds.
