Nintendo is getting fans excited with a new entry into the Kirby universe! The company released a new overview trailer for the upcoming Kirby & The Forgotten Land on Thursday (March 3), and fans are getting excited on social media about the upcoming video game, set to be released on Nintendo Switch on March 25. Click inside to read more… Along with the trailer, Nintendo has also released a free demo for Kirby and the Forgotten Land featuring the first world in the game, as well as a battle with the boss Gorimondo.
It’s available now on Nintendo’s eShop, and includes the first three levels. There’s also a co-op mode, allowing a second player to join as Bandana Waddle Dee.
The game quickly became a Trending Topic on Twitter, as fan hurried to try out the new demo. “I say this as someone who will defend Star Allies to the grave: Kirby and the Forgotten Land is one of the most necessary steps for the Kirby franchise to take after SA showed the 2D gameplay is getting a little stale.
Overview trailer and gameplay clips have convinced me,” one user said. “That Kirby demo was pretty sweet. I’m soooo glad they’ve added difficulty settings to Kirby from the get-go,” added another. “They literally start the new Kirby Trailer by telling you that you can ‘inhale and spit.’ Wild times over there are [sp] Nintendo right now,” one user amusingly remarked.
