Irish Times, Nigella Lawson discussed how cooking for just herself has taken on greater meaning in 2020. With the publisher's deadline for her newest cookbook fast approaching and the UK's first wave of strict Coronavirus restrictions put in place, the British celeb chef decided fully embrace the isolation of a pandemic lockdown. “It was strange because it was the first time in my life that I hadn’t been cooking for other people,” Nigella explained. “I went into complete isolation well before we were supposed to because I knew I couldn’t get ill.

I didn’t do any bubble. I was just in solitary. Get the book done and reduce every risk.” She realised that the pandemic had had an interesting impact.
