The 46-year-old entertainer, who is currently leading the Broadway revival of Sunset Boulevard, opened up during an interview on TODAY with Jenna & Friends on Tuesday morning (January 21) in New York City. “People don’t realize that musical theatre was my first love, but I’m so grateful, I want to say, to my pop world and that whole career because it really gave me the grit.
It gave me the endurance, the discipline, the athleticism,” she said.
