Naman Ramachandran A24‘s provocative drama “Babygirl” has surpassed $50 million at the global box office, with international markets delivering $22.6 million and domestic earnings reaching $27.4 million, per numbers provided by the studio.
Directed by Halina Reijn, the film, starring Kidman alongside Harris Dickinson, Sophie Wilde and Antonio Banderas, follows a powerful CEO whose life unravels after an affair with a younger intern.
International performance has been particularly robust. In Ukraine, “Babygirl” has become A24’s highest-grossing release ever, earning $685,000 across 190 screens and outperforming mainstream studio releases.
The Netherlands, Reijn’s home country, has contributed $4.27 million, while the U.K. opened strongly with $1.3 million, ranking among the year’s top R-rated debuts alongside “Poor Things” and “Smile 2.” Scandinavian markets have exceeded expectations, with the film claiming the top spot in Denmark during its opening week.
