Nicolas Cage Reveals If He & Wife Riko Shibata Are Having a Boy or Girl!

While making an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Thursday (April 21), the 58-year-old actor revealed if he and his pregnant wife, Riko Shibata, are expecting a baby boy or girl. He then went on to reveal the name he and Riko have picked out for their daughter. Nic recalled how when his dad, Augie, was a DJ, he would often play The Beatles‘ hit song “Across the Universe.” When Nic was 4-years-old, he heard the song or the first time, causing him to be “frozen, paralyzed,” and it has been his favorite song ever since.
In honor of the song, Nic and Riko plan on naming their daughter Lennon Augie, after John Lennon and his dad.
This will be the first child for Nic and Riko, who have been married since 2021. Nic is also dad to sons Weston, 31, with Christina Fulton, and Kal-El, 16, with ex-wife Alice Kim.
