Nicola Sturgeon contemplated quitting last year over an investigation into her actions during a Government probe into Alex Salmond.
The First Minister made the admission after being asked about how difficult it would be for Boris Johnson to resign. In an interview with Sky, Sturgeon blasted Johnson for his smear about Labour leader Keir Starmer that he failed to prosecute abuser Jimmy Savile.
She said Johnson should “fully, unreservedly, unequivocally” apologise to Starmer.In another part of the discussion, she was asked what it would be like to leave a job like the role of PM and how difficult it is to make that kind of decision.She said: “I've not had to make that decision.
But I've had to contemplate it and I'll come back to that in a second.“But before I do, the kind of job I have, the job Boris Johnson has, these are privileges.
