Nicola Peltz appeared to take a swipe at her husband Brooklyn Beckham’s parents, admitting he felt "pressured" into certain careers.
The actress, 27, made comments about those who advised Brooklyn, 23, on his career choices, saying that he did a lot of things he wasn't keen on in order to "people please".
Speaking to Tatler Magazine, Nicola was asked about her new husband’s career change from photography to cookery, where she revealed that he felt “pressure to please people with his career and he didn’t love it.” Speaking about his love of cooking, she told the publication: “You can tell that when Brooklyn’s in the kitchen he’s in heaven.The eldest son of football legend David saw him start his array of career choices playing football.
He played for Arsenal’s youth team, but was dropped by around his 16th birthday. Following his football stint, Brooklyn enjoyed a taster of a career in modelling and photography, but recently launched ‘Cookin’ with Brooklyn’, a Facebook Watch show where he creates unique dishes for some of his famous pals.
