Nicki Minaj 's husband Kenneth Petty can't legally attend the birth of their baby if it happens outside of his curfew hours.

The rapper, 37, announced her pregnancy earlier this month and is expected to give birth later this year. Petty, 42, is living with strict bail conditions as he faces trial on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender when he moved to California.

His travel is limited to Southern California and he has a curfew as he waits for his next court date. Petty's lawyers have filed documents with a court in California asking a judge to modify the conditions of his release so he can be by his wife's side if she goes into labour outside his curfew hours.
