Nick Knowles faces being first Strictly Come Dancing star to leave after alarming detail discovered
ok.co.ukThe new series of Strictly Come Dancing is now in full swing, and this week marks the second time that each of the celebrities and their professional partners will showcase their dance moves in front of the judges.
However, it is also the first week in which one couple will be eliminated on the results show on Sunday 29 September, and if you look at the facts and figures of previous series, DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles is the most likely candidate to be packing up his dancing shoes and sparkly shirts and heading home.
The reason Nick has been tipped for elimination isn’t because of his first appearance last week with partner Luba Mushtuk, in which they danced a jive to Starship hit We Built This City, even though judge Craig Revel Horwood was less than impressed and scored them only three points.
His chances of survival are actually based on odds taken over Strictly’s 20 years – odds that state 38% of the first stars to leave the competition have all been working as presenters, just like Nick.
