Nick Carter and his family are still grieving the tragic loss of Aaron Carter. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Backstreet Boys member opened up about how his loved ones are doing as the first anniversary of his death approaches in a few months.
And understandably, they’re “still processing” what happened to him to this very day. Nick shared with the outlet: Related: Angel Carter Talks Heartbreak Over Aaron’s Death & Estrangement From Their Mom According to the 43-year-old performer, that “something” was him and his sister Angel working with the non-profit organization On Our Sleeves, which aims to help children struggling with their mental health.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later revealed his cause of death was accidental after he drowned in a bathtub “due to the effects” of alprazolam, a generic form of Xanax, and difluoroethane, a flammable gas that is often found in cans of compressed air.
