Nicholas Galitzine Teases He-Man Preparation For ‘Masters Of The Universe’

While Nicholas Galitzine has been a leading man for some time, he’s now getting the hero treatment. The Bottoms actor was tapped in May 2024 as the star of Amazon MGM and Mattel’s forthcoming Masters Of The Universe, which centers on the all-powerful He-Man, or Prince Adam of Eternia.

The character was first introduced to the world via a line of popular action figures in the ’80s, battling the evil Skeletor.

In an interview with W Magazine, The Idea of You star previewed the intense preparation required to play such a commanding figure. “No pressure, I just have to embody the strongest man in the universe,” he joked.

He continued, detailing the prep: “There’s been a lot of eating and weightlifting, a lot of stunts. I’m eating about 4,000 calories a day, but the amount of physical work I’m doing, you end up hungry at the end of the day, which is quite surprising.
