An NHS support worker has won a tremendous £405,000 on the People's Postcode Lottery six years after losing her twin boys. Rachel Lee wants to give back in memory of them, and is now planning to become a paediatric nurse.
The 33-year-old and her husband John, 37, were overcome with emotion when they found out that they had nabbed the largest share of the £1 million Postcode Lottery jackpot.
She stated: "This just doesn't happen to us. We're used to picking up the phone to bad news." The couple, based in Dukinfield, Greater Manchester, lost their twins Reggie and Ronnie during childbirth in 2018.
At the time, Rachel also contracted sepsis and was at death's door.Remembering her sons, she said: "They sacrificed themselves for me.
