NHS Scotland is currently looking for people to relocate to a spectacular island.At the moment, the healthcare service is hiring a number of positions on the tiny Isle of Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides.
Home to a population of around just 1,300 people, Benbecula features tiny lochs, magnificent sandy beaches, and several shops and cafés in its main settlement of Balivanich.A variety of roles with NHS Scotland are currently being advertised through employment site HiJOBS, with most based at the island's Uist and Barra Community Hospital.
These are catered towards different skill and experience levels.The highest-paid position available on the Isle of Benbecula is an Advanced Nurse/Paramedic Practitioner, which pays as much as £56,747 per year plus an annual Distant Island Allowance of £1,349.
The role is a fixed-term post, and involves 25 hours of work per week.The Advanced Nurse/Paramedic Practitioner will be part of the island's first-response team, and provide urgent healthcare.
