Plans to replace University Hospital Monklands are progressing at pace after NHS Lanarkshire submitted a planning application for the facility to North Lanarkshire Council.
The move quickly follows on quickly from the Scottish Government's approval of the outline business case for the new hospital in Airdrie last month.Colin Lauder, NHS Lanarkshire director of planning, property and performance, told Lanarkshire Live: “We are delighted to submit a planning application for this hugely significant capital project.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
