Former New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has a new home in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings. Multiple media reports say Jones became a free agent on Monday after parting ways with the Giants following a rough season.
Jones is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Vikings for the remainder of this season with a payout of $375,000, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
The football star will start in the practice squad, which would allow him to sing with another team if a starting QB position opens up.
The Vikings only had one quarterback under contract for the 2025 season but JJ McCarthy suffered a season-ending injury during a preseason game.
