Teacher strikes are set to continue in Scotland with 16 days of walkouts planned across the country.Leading teachers union, the Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS), is expected to go ahead with the strike action starting next Monday.Union members will carry out strikes at two local authorities on each day of industrial action, rather than having all teachers walk out at once.The teachers' union has been in talks with Scottish Government representatives in recent days, but the latest pay rise offered has been rejected.EIS General Secretary Andrea Bradley said: "Despite their warm words over the past week, the Scottish Government and COSLA have again failed to come to the table with a new pay offer to Scotland’s teachers."Below is a full list of EIS teacher strike dates and the local authorities in which they take place.
