Among the games nominated for the top honor, Big Apple Award for Best Game of the Year, are: “Balatro,” “Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth,” “Astro Bot,” “UFO 50,” “1000xResist,” “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle,” “Metaphor: ReFantazio” and “EA Sports College Football 25.” Remedy Entertainment creative director Sam Lake is set to receive the 2025 Andrew Yoon Legend Award at the New York Videogame Critics Circle (NYVGCC)-hosted awards show, which will take place Jan.
