New York is opening up again. Stadiums and arenas in New York with a capacity of 10,000 people or more will be allowed to reopen later this month on February 23, New York governor Andrew Cuomo announced Friday (February 12).
The venues can run with a capacity of 10% according to the announcement, and all fans and staff planning to attend an event will need to provide a negative PCR test within the 72 hours prior, via NBC New York.
Fans will also have their temperature checked upon entering the venue and will be required to wear face coverings while in attendance.
The city will host concerts for the first time in a year as part of the New York Arts Revival program, which was announced in January.
