Former Ayr MSP, John Scott, has today spoken of his pride at landing an OBE in the New Year’s Honours List. Mr Scott said he was “surprised” and “humbled” with the accolade recognising his political and public service.
The Scottish Conservative and Unionist politician served the Ayr constituency at Holyrood with distinction from 2000 to 2021 and continues to be a ‘weel kent’ figure in the region.
