In the original set of books (and films), fans followed the story of human Bella Swan and her deep love for immortal vampire Edward Cullen - but now, we can expect to finally read Edward's perspective on the whole ordeal.
Meyer took to her website to confirm that her newest addition will hit bookshelves - and our fingertips - on August 4. She also appeared in a video on US talk show Good Morning America, saying: “I am very excited to finally, finally announce the release of Midnight Sun on 4 August." Fans were so excited, her website crashed as a result.
