A rum liqueur company has announced plans to open a cocktail bar in south Manchester. Witch Kings Rum, which started life during the pandemic in 2020, will open their first bar in Levenshulme in August.
The venue will take over the former premises of vegetarian restaurant The Gherkin on Slade Lane. Bosses have promised the new cocktail bar will feature artisan drinks, fresh fruit rum liqueurs, cocktails, mocktails, beers and ciders.
There will also be live music and a light bites food menu. Co-owners Maxi Tin-Bradbury and Brandon Bissell started Witch Kings three years ago. Their rum is made using pure single white run from Ninefold Distillery in Scotland, which is then infused with a host of unique fresh and premium ingredients.
