EXCLUSIVE: New Regency and Maximum Effort are teaming on a feature adaptation of New York Times best-selling novel Eight Perfect Murders, having recently acquired the rights to the Peter Swanson novel and attached Harry Bradbeer to direct.
The novel was published by William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins. “I’m delighted to be working with Maximum Effort and New Regency on this truly remarkable project – a witty, surprising mischievous thriller, that’s as fun as it is soulful,” Bradbeer said.
The news follows Maximum Efforts’ record-breaking box office success with Deadpool vs. Wolverine and the upcoming fourth season of Emmy-winning hit docuseries, Welcome to Wrexham.
New Regency’s recent and upcoming film and television slate includes critically acclaimed, The Bikeriders, Steve McQueen’s Blitz, and Mr. & Mrs.
