Social Security Scotland has confirmed that it started moving existing Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claimants to Adult Disability Payment last month.
It began the process of transferring cases from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to the new devolved benefit on June 13.
Some 313,620 existing PIP claimants living in Scotland will be transferred automatically to Adult Disability Payment between now and the end of summer 2024.
Nobody needs to reapply for the new benefit and Social Security Scotland said people will get the same amount of Adult Disability Payment that they received for PIP if their circumstances have not changed.
