Four new driving laws are coming later this year and motorists could be fined for not following them. The changes range from higher road tax to new Low Emission Zones in Scotland.

It's an expensive time to be a motorist in the UK with rising petrol costs, although Chancellor Rishi Sunak recently cut fuel duty by 5p in the Spring Statement last week.

Some laws have already come into effect, including the end of a legal loophole that means mobile phones can only be used while hands-free, the Mirror reported.
