Two small business owners have announced plans for a new cattery in Monkton - boasting live web cams to see how your pet is doing.Eric and Fiona Manson have unveiled proposals for the business via a planning application and earmarked their garden, in the village’s Main Street, as the proposed site.If approved, then The Cottage Cattery would operate cat boarding facilities at 1 Main Street for up to 20 cats within a 10-pen unit.It will be sited in a garden and the applicants says their mission will be to provide “high quality” boarding accommodation for those who require it.In a supporting statement from the agents, Avant Architecture, they said: “The Cottage Cattery is a new cattery looking to open in Monkton, Ayrshire.
We are seeking to provide accommodation for up to 20 cats in a 10-pen unit, which will allow travellers to and from Prestwick Airport to access convenient, flexible boarding for their cats within a high quality environment.“This will be in addition to providing cattery boarding and care for a wide range of pet owners.
