New Bellshill manager Derek Wilson says it was Carluke Rovers’ loss to axe him earlier this year. Wilson and assistant David Menelaws controversially left the John Cumming Stadium last year in a move that saw a host of first team stars leave the club.
After being appointed at Rockburn Park as a replacement for Robert Sneddon, Wilson wants to put Rovers behind him as he looks towards the West of Scotland League era.“It’s a new start for everybody and I’m over the moon to have got the job,” said Wilson.“I get on well with the supporters and the committee so it was a nice change from the way things were at Carluke, where things ended with a bit of drama.“We’ve brought in 10 boys already and we’re speaking to the players who were at the club
