A one day music festival showcasing the best unsigned talent in Ayrshire is set to wow crowds this summer.The Best of Ayrshire rolls into Troon Concert Hall in June, with over nine hours of live tunes and independent music entertaining live music fans.And organisers behind the gig say it could be a chance to see the next big artist to come out of Ayrshire - following in the footsteps of big names including Biffy Clyro, Fatherson and Baby Chaos.Headlining the Best of Ayrshire are Soldier On, who sold out two nights at Irvine's Harbour Arts Centre in the summer and have been playing to audiences across Scotland.Also on the bill are The Notions - fresh off a sold out King Tuts show - The Breathing Method, The Shores, Royal Bloom, Verces, Spleen, Ocean Views, Jodie Rae and Daniel MG - with the whole event MC’d by Ayrshire’s own comedian Billy Kirkwood.The mini festival is run by Ayrshire-based event company Bring It On Events, who have been running successful comedy and music gigs in the region over the last five years.Bring It On Events co-owner Scott Booth, who runs the business alongside Jamie Haining, said: “Ayrshire is full to the brim with talented musicians and we want to showcase that to the fullest.“Each and every one of the bands playing our one day mini festival deserve a shot at success and we want to help as many bands as we can.“We love independent music and showcasing their talent and we think that everyone who buys a ticket for this event will feel they got their money’s worth.”Scott and Jamie also run music studio Ellis Music Studios in Irvine and are in one the best positions to see emerging talent first hand.Jamie said: “We could have stocked a full weekend with the amount of sublime talent that comes
