A Perth band has released a brand new album as its members got the chance to play their first gig at the Twa Tams at the weekend.
The five-piece indie rock outfit - The Crom - have been playing together in some form since 2019. They are named after The Cromlix Road in Perth where lead singer, songwriter and rhythm guitarist Alan Sweeney (41) grew up.
His dad lived there and when he was a teenager, there had been a Mod revivalist gang called The Crom.“Dad was out with a Vespa, Parka jacket and Fred Perrys,” Alan revealed.The Crom is a bit of a family affair with Alan’s younger brother Frankie playing bass guitar.
