A new adventure golf course will be built on the side of a driving range in Middleton. Bowlee Park Driving Range will now be transformed after getting approval.

A new covered adventure golf course, a second floor of driving range bays and an indoor golf area will all be created at the Heywood Old Road site.

The applicant, Improve My Golf Ltd (who operate the site), believes it could make the golf facility a key attraction for visitors in the Manchester and Middleton area. Part of the existing building structure will have to be demolished to make way for the new development. The roof over the new adventure golf course will also be retractable to ‘maximise the openness’.
