Joe Otterson TV Reporter Dane DeHaan is the latest addition to the cast of the “Neuromancer” series currently in the works at Apple TV+.
Additional cast members in the adaptation of the William Gibson novel of the same name include Callum Turner, Briana Middleton, Mark Strong, Joseph Lee, Cleménce Poésy, and Peter Sarsgaard.
The official logline for “Neuromancer” states that it “follows a damaged, top-rung super-hacker named Case (Turner) who is thrust into a web of digital espionage and high stakes crime with his partner Molly (Middleton), a razor-girl assassin with mirrored eyes, aiming to pull a heist on a corporate dynasty with untold secrets.” DeHaan will play Peter Riviera.
DeHaan’s recent TV credits include the Netflix Western drama “American Primeval,” the Max true crime series “The Staircase,” and the Amazon crime series “ZeroZeroZero.” He also previously starred in the Apple series “Lisey’s Story” and appeared in shows like “In Treatment” and “True Blood” earlier in his career.
