Netflix Virgin River star drops major hint about Season 8

Virgin River fans have been given a major hint that the show will be back for an eighth season. Series 6 launched on Netflix in December and just before it hit screens, bosses confirmed it would be returning to the streaming site for a seventh instalment.

Now (Dan) Brady star Benjamin Hollingsworth has dropped serious clues that viewers will not be left waiting for more Virgin River action when the next run finishes up.

Hollingsworth was appearing on YouTube channel Popternative when he discussed season seven and revealed that talks about series 8 are already taking place behind the scenes.

Referring to a conversation he had with Virgin River show runner Patrick Sean Smith, he said: “I just had a conversation with Sean, and obviously, we need to be renewed for season eight, but he’s already thinking toward that.”Touching upon what Virgin River fans can expect from season seven, Canadian star Hollingsworth revealed there would be more of a deep dive into Brady’s financial struggles.
