EXCLUSIVE: Jenn Levy, who has overseen series including Queer Eye and Is It Cake? at Netflix, is leaving the streamer.
Deadline understands that Levy, who is VP Nonfiction, is leaving at the end of this week. She has been with the company since 2017, having joined as Director of Unscripted Originals from NBCUniversal’s Bravo, where she had spent nine years.
She was the company’s unscripted chief Brandon Riegg’s first hire after he joined the company at the end of 2016. The move is somewhat of a surprise given the success of Netflix’s recent reality pipeline.
Queer Eye is heading in to its eighth season; Love Is Blind — arguably Netflix’s biggest unscripted hit — is back in February with Season 6; and the company behind that series, Kinetic Content, also is behind The Ultimatum, which has aired two seasons and has a spinoff.
